Biografie
Sebastian Lehnhoff studierte Informatik an der Technischen Universität Dortmund und promovierte im Frühjahr 2010 am Lehrstuhl für Betriebssysteme und Rechnerarchitektur. Von 2010 bis 2015 war er Juniorprofessor für Energieinformatik an der Carl von Ossietzky Universität – eine Stiftungsprofessur des OFFIS Institut für Informatik. Seit 2016 ist Sebastian Lehnhoff Professor für Energieinformatik an der Universität in Oldenburg und Vorstand des OFFIS – seit 2022 ist er Sprecher des Vorstands. Als Sprecher des FuE-Bereichs Energie ist er verantwortlich für die Forschungsthemen im Umfeld intelligenter Energiesysteme, sog. Smart Grids und aktiv in einer Vielzahl Arbeitskreisen, Fachgruppen und Gremien, die sich inhaltlich mit der Digitalisierung der Energiewirtschaft beschäftigen.
