Biografie
Prof. Dr. Christoph Wunck is a full professor of Business Information Systems since 1999 and former Dean of the College of Management, Information, Technology. He teaches courses on distributed applications, software engineering, programming, electronic business systems, business process management and information management. He holds a doctoral degree from the faculty of mechanical engineering and a master’s degree (Diplom-Ingenieur) in electrical engineering, both from RWTH Aachen University.

He is the managing director of the Institute of Information Processing in Plastics Manufacturing at Jade University and a scientific director at OFFIS Institute for Information Technology. He has been appointed Affiliate Professor of Computer Science at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, USA.

His professional experience covers project management and consulting services for a major European business consultancy and work as a consulting engineer for manufacturing and electronics industries. He has served Jade University for nine years in the position of dean and dean of studies.

Prof. Dr. Wunck is well connected in his field. He is a registered expert for the European Research Council Executive Agency. He serves in the management of conferences and is a reviewer for conference papers, journals and books. He is a Senior Member of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, a Professional Member of IISE and a member of IEOM, INFORMS, ISCA, ISACA, and VDI.
