European Guide to Smart Energy System Testing: The ERIGrid 2.0 Approach for Evaluating Complex Smart Energy System Configurations
Co-Simulation plays an important role for testing new technologies for cyber-physical energy systems. This chapter describes different approaches for improving co-simulation in this context. Those approaches aim to improve initialization in co-simulation, event-based co-simulation of communication networks, multi-domain simulation including heat, and real-time co-simulation.
