COMPANION Cooperative dynamic formation of platoons for safe and energy-optimized goods transportation

Ziele

Das EU-Projekt COMPANION hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, ein System zur Orchestrierung von Platoons von Trucks auf Autobahnen zu entwickeln. Das System soll automatisch aus Logistikdaten und weiteren Faktoren wie Verkehrsdaten und Wetterinformationen optimale Konstellationen von Platoons ermitteln und über ein Assistenzsystem den Fahrern dabei behilflich sein, den Platoons beizutreten und wieder zu verlassen.
