Biografie
Nadine Wagener studierte im Bachelor Medienwissenschaften und englischsprachige Literatur/Kultur an der Universität Paderborn und absolvierte dann ihren Ma.S in Interdisciplinary Media Studies an der Universität Bielefeld, bevor sie an der Universität Bremen im Bereich Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) zu "Virtual-Reality-Anwendungen für Selbstfürsorge und Wohlbefinden" zum Dr.-Ing. promovierte. Als Postdoc wechselte sie zum Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik in Saarbrücken, wo sie zu Multimodality und Agency forschte, und war als Visiting Researcher an der Cornell Tech, New York, wo sie an Projekten mit der Schnittstelle AI, Kollaboration und Gesundheitswesen mitarbeite. Seit Oktober 2025 ist sie als Gruppenleiterin der Personal Pervasive Computing (PPC) Gruppe am OFFIS.

Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen insbesondere in den Themenfeldern Technologien für Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden, Produktivität am Arbeitsplatz, KI zum Erkennen von Mustern und Trends bei problematischer Smartphone-Nutzung, FemTech, VR/AR zur Emotionsregulierung sowie pervasive Technologien zum Selbsttracking.
