A User-Supported Approach to Determine the Importance of Optimization Criteria for Design Space Exploration

We propose a method to support a system engineer during the process of design space exploration to determine weight factors for optimization objectives to find an optimal deployment of tasks to hardware resources of a distributed embedded system. The method is an adaption of the established House of Quality approach, which was originally used to determine the importance of product features based on requirements.
