Human Element Combined Public Workshop

You are kindly invited to join us at a free public workshop on the cross-subject of human factors, ship design and operation.
The event will take place in London on 15 - 16 September 2015 (see additional details on the flyer).
Three EU funded projects will present their findings:
- CyClaDes - Crew-centered Design and Operations of Ships and Ship Systems http://www.cyclades-project.eu
- FAROS - Human Factors in Risk-Based Design Methodology http://www.faros-project.eu
- CASCADe - Model-based Cooperative and Adaptive Ship-based Context Aware Design http://cascadeproject.eu
The workshop will be focusing, amongst others, on:
- Maritime safety through training, operation and design
- Effect of fatigue, ship motions, vibration, noise, deck layout, access to equipment, human-machine interfaces
- Experiments on bridge simulators and virtual reality
- Mathematical modelling and simulations
