ThermoTwin

Goal

In ThermoTwin, a more efficient process chain for aircraft components made of lightweight materials is being developed, which will reduce production time and energy consumption while maintaining the same quality requirements. By reducing the weight of various components, fuel consumption is also reduced, which lowers emissions and costs.

OFFIS is developing a digital product twin of the component, which accompanies the process (preforming, consolidation, overmoulding, joining) and provides data for an economic and ecological analysis.
