STEP-UP Smart technologies for standard-compliant process control and worker support in adhesive manufacturing processes

Goal

The overall objective of the research project is to improve the application quality of manual adhesive processes by means of guided, user-friendly and partially automated monitoring based on standards (DIN 6701/2304) and specific work instructions. The central approach is the combination and integration of an existing software for manufacturing and the Remote Expert System into a holistic approach for employee support in the adhesive bonding production - from the first surface preparation to the final automated quality assurance documentation of the entire process.
