PAALiativ Intelligent technical support for home care of people in their last year of living

Motivation

Processes of care during crises will be described as coordinated crisis intervention paths. The involvement of the family and relatives as well as the communication with and in-between the different care providers will be facilitated. For technical assistance, a home communication platform will be developed with three main tasks: monitoring of the patients relevant data, intervention during crises, and communication between the diff erent players. This will help to avoid crises of the patient or, in the case of incidence, to better cope with the crises, and improve safety and social integration.

Goal

The aim of the PAALiative project is the development of products to support people in their last years of their life within their home environments. The aim is to offer a new way for an independent and socially integrated life with best possible quality of life at home.
