EuropeanaConnect is a Best Practice Network sponsored by the European Commission within the eContentplusProgramme. Its primary goal is to deliver core components for the development and enhancement of Europe's digital library, Europeana. Europeana contains more than 4.6 million digital images, tests, sounds and videos from all over Europe. It aims at making Europe's rich cultural heritage available to all European citizens. In EuropeanaConnect, OFFIS will develop and evaluate innovative mobile user interfaces for access to Europeana , enabling users to access the rich cultural heritage of Europeana using their mobile devices.
