PhD Position (m/f/d) – Social Interaction in Mixed Reality

Join the DFG-funded research project SPASS and investigate how Mixed Reality can transform social interaction. You will develop novel concepts for Social Presence in Mixed Reality and publish your research in an international scientific environment.

DAS BRINGEN SIE MIT:

  • An excellent Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
  • A strong interest in research in Human-Computer Interaction, Mixed Reality, and Extended Reality.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas:
          - Mixed Reality (MR), Virtual Reality (VR), or Augmented Reality (AR)
          - Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or User Experience (UX)
          - Development of interactive systems (e.g., using Unity and C#)
          - Empirical user studies and data analysis
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the motivation to publish research results at international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.
  • A structured and independent working style, strong teamwork skills, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research.
