The ODIN project intends to provide physicians withup-to-date, clinically verified medical specialist information about diseases in the fields of oncology, haematology, infectology and haemostaseology. The information is provided online in precise and practically usable form and, therefore, available at any time and any place. Due to rapid advances in medical knowledge the requirements of further education for physicians are permanently increasing. Especially in the fields of oncology and haematology there is a significant difference in the competence available at university hospitals versus regional hospitals and general practitioners. ODIN offers possibilities to close knowledge gaps and to decrease the differences in competence. The ODIN project addresses physicians whose native language is German - the ODIN specialist information is available in the German language only.
