Biografie
Kim Grüttner ist Leiter der “Hardware/Software Design Methodik” Gruppe
und Principal Scientist am OFFIS – Institut für Informatik in Oldenburg.
Zusätzlich hält er regelmäßig Vorlesungen an der Universität Oldenburg. Er hat
ein Diplom (seit 2005) und einen Dr. rer. nat. (seit 2015) in Informatik von
der Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg.
Herr Dr. Grüttner ist ACM Mitglied, IEEE Senior Mitglied und HiPEAC
Mitglied. Er ist in den Programmkomitees internationaler Konferenzen (DATE, DSD, SIES, FDL, VIPES, …) und Gutachter wissenschaftlicher Zeitschriften (IEEE TCAD, ACM TC, ACM TECS, ACM TODAES, Elsevier MICPRO & SIMPAT and Springer DAEM).

Sein Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich des Electronic System-Level
Designs und der Synthese für System on Chips. Dies beinhaltet insbesondere
System-Level Design Methodologie und Sprachen für heterogene HW/SW Systeme mit
einem Fokus auf die gemeinsame Simulation von Funktion, Verlustleistung und
Temperatur, Zeitanalyse von datenflussorientierten Anwendungen auf MPSoCs mit
gemeinsam genutzten Ressourcen und virtuellen Integrationstests für gemischt
kritische Anwendungen auf einem MPSoC.

Kim Grüttner war Koordinator der EU-Projekte COMPLEX
(Codesign and power Management in Platform-based design space Exploration) und
CONTREX (Design of embedded mixed-criticality CONTRol systems under
consideration of EXtra-functional properties). Aktuell ist er technischer Leiter des Europäischen Forschungsvorhabens SAFEPOWER (Safe and secure mixed-criticality systems with low power requirements).
