At the Dependable Systems‘ Competence Center, we bundle the inter-disciplinary development of processes, methods and tools which guarantee the safety and availability of such systems. The Competence Center can, in this regards, make use of the experience gathered during many years of strategic Public-Private Partnerships at national and European level. Within the scope of a network of over 25 globally active companies in the fields of aerospace, automotive, automation technology and rail engineering and in cooperation with research organizations and suppliers of development tools, a development platform has been created to support Critical Systems Engineering with a total investment of more than 100 million euros. The platform contains »modules« (tools, methods, processes, meta-models and interoperability standards) to assist the engineering of safety-critical systems and supports the integration of such components into domain- and application-specific industrial development processes.
