Forschungsinteresse

Niels main research interests are advances in accessing digital information using physical objects to interlink the physical word and digital content. Among his other research interests is interaction with multimedia using mobile devices, tactile and auditory interfaces, and accessibility. In 2008 and 2009 Niels organized the workshop on Mobile Interaction with the Real World held at the International conference on Human Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services. He is a member of the ACM and the German Computer Society (GI).
