Human Machine Interaction

Novel applications, as they emerge from mobile, ambient, or ubiquitous technologies, require intelligent operational concepts. This technology cluster develops user-centered and situation- aware methods, which make the interaction between human and machines easier and safer. The cluster addresses both safety- critical applications, as well as the daily handling of digital information in the domains health and transportation. For this purpose

  • cognitive models,
  • simulation technologies and
  • formal analyses are used,

as well as new multimodal inter-action  concepts are designed and their acceptance is evaluated.
