Research Focus

Mikrokraftsensorik: Die Messung von Kräften im MilliNewton-Bereich und kleiner ist Kerninteresse. Darüber hinaus ist die Messung solcher Kräfte in drei Raumrichtungen Teil des Arbeitsgebietes. Holzfaser-/fibrillenthandhabung: Die Verwendung von nanoskaligen organischen Bauteilen aus Holzfasern ist ein zweites Forschungsinteresse, das auf der Kraftsensorik als Charakterisierungsmittel aufbaut. Micro force measurement: The main research focus is on the measurement of forces in the range of milliNewtons and below. Another topic is the measurement of such forces in three dimensions. Wood fibre and wood fibril handling and characterisation are another research interest. This is based on the force measurement as characterisation tool.
