Figures and Facts

Looking at the average figures of many years, the OFFIS employees are working usually at approximately 60 projects simultaneously , together with wordwide 400 cooperation partners from science and industry. Over 280 employees are working on over 6000 square meter in three adjacent buildings. The OFFIS Team consists of just under 85% scientists. Up to now OFFIS spun off one holding, six public companies and one limited company. OFFIS is financed in an average of approximately one third from grants from the state of Lower Saxony and two-thirds are raised from other sources. Thus OFFIS is regarding its self-financing nationally in the top group of institutions.
